the first.

أَلَمْalam
Did not
يَجِدْكَyajid'ka
He find you
يَتِيمًاyatīman
an orphan

so He made self-sufficient.
Did He not find you in need and make you self-sufficient?
9
فَأَمَّاfa-ammā
So as for
الْيَتِيمَl-yatīma
the orphan,
فَلَاfalā
then (do) not
تَقْهَرْtaqhar
oppress,
So do not be harsh with the orphan
10
وَأَمَّاwa-ammā
And as for
السَّائِلَl-sāila
one who asks,
فَلَاfalā
then (do) not
تَنْهَرْtanhar
repel,
and do not chide the one who asks for help;
